Three ways to get a finished part: powder coated, anodised, or folded from steel that arrives already coated. You order all of them from us.

Powder coating#
A tough, even coat applied once a part has been cut, folded and welded, so every edge, bend and weld is covered. Tell us the RAL number and any finish you need.
- One side or both. Coat only the face that shows, or both faces where the back is seen too.
- Marine grade. A coating system for coastal and harsh environments, where salt air or pollution would shorten the life of a standard coat.
Anodising#
Anodising forms a hard protective layer in the surface of aluminium rather than painting over it. Our J57S aluminium is listed for anodising; ask if you want another grade anodised.
Pre-finished steel#
For flashings, cappings and trims, 0.7mm steel arrives already coated in a range of colours and finishes and is folded straight to your section, with nothing to paint afterwards. The ranges we fold:
- Colorcoat Leathergrain: Precoated with leathergrain texture. One side finished, available double-sided.
- Colorcoat Prisma: Precoated with prisma finish. One side finished, available double-sided.
- Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra: Precoated with HPS200 Ultra finish. One side finished.

What to tell us#
- The finish: powder coat, anodise, or pre-finished steel.
- For powder coat: one side or both, and whether it needs to be marine grade.
- The colour: a RAL number, or the Colorcoat colour name.
- Which faces show, if only some do.
