How ordering works
There is no basket and no card payment on this site. You tell us what you need, we price it by hand, and nothing is made until you have agreed the quote in writing.
1. Send the enquiry#
Pick the route that matches what you already have. All three land in the same workshop, and none of them commits you to anything.
- A schedule in whatever form it exists: a spreadsheet, an architect’s PDF, a drawing, a photo of a sheet of paper. Send a schedule
- A flashing you can describe but have not drawn: set it out on the girth builder. Draw a flashing
- A file to cut: DXF, DWG, AI, SVG, PDF or STEP. Send a cutting enquiry
Welding, and anything that does not fit those three, goes through the contact form.
2. We read it and quote#
Every enquiry is read by someone in the workshop and priced by hand. If a detail is missing or a part will not make as drawn, we ask rather than guess; that conversation costs nothing and usually saves a remake.
You get a written quotation by email within 1 to 2 working days, with the price and a lead time. Lead times depend on the job, so every quote states its own.
3. You confirm, we make it#
Reply to accept the quote and the job is booked in. Cutting, shearing, folding and welding all happen in the one building in Irvine, so the parts of a job never travel between suppliers.
4. Collection or delivery#
Collect from the workshop, or we deliver: locally, or anywhere in the UK by courier. Work is invoiced. The details are in Collection and delivery and the terms of sale.
