What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect the name, email address, phone number and company name you give us, the details of the job, and any files you upload.

We do not take payment through this website. Quotes are sent to you and invoiced in the usual way, so no card details ever reach this site.

Why we hold it

To quote your job, make it, deliver it and keep a record of what we supplied. That is the only reason.

The lawful basis is performance of a contract, or taking steps at your request before entering into one.

Your drawings and models

Files you upload are stored so that we can manufacture from them and reproduce the part if you reorder.

Your design remains yours. We do not share it, sell it, publish it or use it for anything other than making your parts. If you want a file deleted after a job is complete, ask and we will delete it.

Who else sees it

Our email, file storage and hosting providers, as part of delivering the website and getting your enquiry to the workshop. Your enquiry is also recorded in our own internal quoting system, which only our staff can see.

We do not sell your details to anyone, and we do not use them for marketing unless you ask us to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become orders are kept for a reasonable period and then deleted. Records of completed orders are kept as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will deal with it.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not need you to accept anything to use it.

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you. It records which pages are viewed, the site you came from, your type of device and your country, and only ever shows us totals.

The flashing builder keeps a list you have not sent yet in your own browser, so a refresh does not lose it. It stays on your device, and is cleared when you send it or press Start again.
