Getting started
Processes
- Laser cutting1200W fibre laser: metals only, 610 by 610mm bed.
- Router cutting3m bed for acrylic, ply and board. Mind the inside corners.
- ShearingStraight cuts to 3165mm on the guillotine.
- FoldingHow the folder works, the 4mm radius, and what fits.
- WeldingLaser, MIG and TIG, and which suits your joint.
- Flashings and girthMeasuring a section so it fits first time.
- FinishingPowder coating (one or both sides, marine grade), anodising and pre-finished steel.

- Aluminium1050, 5083 and J57S: thicknesses and sheet sizes.
- Galvanised steelZinc-coated sheet for folding, cutting and welding.
- Coated steelLeathergrain, Prisma, HPS200 Ultra and more, with colours.
- Stainless steel0.5 to 1.25mm: thicknesses and sheet sizes.
- AcrylicTen ranges, from clear to mirror, cut on the router.
- Timber and boardMDF, plywood, OSB3, chipboard and hardboard, 3 to 25mm.
